In the story, Fifi Abdo says that Dina is nothing more than a "substitute dancer" who is called in when she (Fifi) or Lucy has a headache and can't dance.

There was one interview someone posted somewhere of Fifi, where she said she had been through 6 marriages without a sex scandal, and Dina can't even get through 2? 3? without a sex tape coming out.

Well, some people remember a similar scandal with Fifi back in the day, but anyway...that might have been the subject of huge section that was bleeped out during that series of interviews, who knows?

Fifi seems convinced that Dina gave belly dance a bad name. I feel like Dina's unfortunate sex tape could have been the product of a sick husband like she said, but I guess people will never stop bothering her about it.

Either way, Shira: when are you going to admit your addiction to Egyptian gossip mags?

Hasn't Fifi been married to her current husband for over 20 years? And has a couple of kids by him? I think I recall somewhere that she was forced into an arranged marriage when she was 14. And how many of the husband were the "temporary" secret ones?

I found the most interesting part of that article to be the formation of an organization to protect the rights of bellydancers. Hmm...
