We have this show in Sweden,
but the familys involved are never THIS different!

I live in a pretty moderate family with a little time for everything...

I have a girl who is 13.
She really enjoyed watching the show too,
and when I asked her what family that reminded her of ours the most,
she said:
-"The pig farm family..but you and dad are not as stern..."

Maybe I need more goddess time:)

Please don't read any of what I'm writing if you want to see this show, but haven't had a moment to do it. Spoiler alert! Close your eyes, skip this one, don't look....

When I first saw this thread I had serious misgivings. The producers deliberately misplace wives to create as much painful controversy as possible. But, there's a dancer involved so, made a cup of tea and watched the entire show.

I was shocked seeing Jehan's husband give her $200 to $300 per day (per day!!!!) to spend and not ask what it was being spent on. Volunteering to put myself up for adoption as an older daughter with an allowance allotted.

At the pig farm everyone had little time to enjoy being a family. The men of this episode were so wonderful, the ladies were open minded and it turned out well for everyone except the pigs, poor piggies.

Jehan came across as someone who would be soooo much fun to know. Even the editing department couldn't edit out her honest enthusiasm. Good for her! The other wife, left me smiling at the end.

Being a formal Wife Swap actor, I'm going to tell you the truth about it.
If it's anything like it was two years ago (chances of a change from the producers are nill), then I think it's entirely safe to say that everything on that show is fake. First, that part at the beggining were the wife writes a guide for the new mother is actually written by the producers. Second, you can easily watch how the color of shirt that a person is wearing magically changes when they say somthing that makes the show "interesting". Thirdly, there is only one camera. ONE. Now think about how many different angles they took during that suacy fight they undoubtedly had. Fourth, the show states that they film for two weeks, one for the wife to get use to it, and one for the wife to change it. That's a lie too. As soon as the wife gets shipped, she gets three days to look shocked, three days to act like she wrote the new rules, and one day for the couples to meet and fight over the table( well, here that have two camera men, one assigned to each wife). That's only one week.

Jehan is probably under contract that states she can not tell anyone that the show is fake.

Also, the producers will take something of truth, then twist it until it's only 3% truth (if your lucky). The part about $300 without question probably happend only once, and was for a costume. And her husband prabably knew about it too.

When I was on the show they told me what to say, and what to do. And I did it becuase of contract.

If you watch the credits you can find "writer", only two camera men(one for each family), and editor listed. That's the proof if you need it.

Should I even go over the the emotional devistation?
Let's just send Jehan some nutritional food (did I mention that they practically never feed you?) and good vibes.

I didn't bother too watch the show it disguts me so much.

I will not talk about it anymore and that's all I have to say.

If Jehan is under contract and can't talk about the truth, how come you can?

It's not that I don't believe you - I was on the old dating game show "Change of Heart" and they made me look like the biggest hoochie in the world. It was all staging and editing and it ended up being pretty embarrasing in the end. I just think it's weird that you can talk about it even if you have a contract saying you can't?

I have an instructor friend who taught a BD lesson to a "couple" on ElimiDate. The lesson ended with footage of the girl leaping happily into the arms of her date. As soon as the director yelled "cut!", she turned to my friend and said, "Man, my boyfriend is going to be pissed when he sees this." The girl was an aspiring actress, and her participation in the show was entirely for self-promotion.
