Love the black pants and cape costume. She looks so elegant and glamorous. An inspiration to all of us dancers of a certain age who are no longer as slim as we used to be.

One thing I find reassuring in this video is to see both Aida and Tito having to surreptitiously resettle their hip scarves! Yay! It happens to everybody!

Hi --

I was at the show - unfortunately way in back, but I must say that it is probably the most wonderful show I've ever attended. I'm spoiled for life now!

I couldn't see Aida's black costume in detail - so these pictures and video help give a better idea of what it was all about. But I loved the yellow -- it showed up so well on stage and was bright and happy like her performance.

At the end of the show Aida and Tito danced out into the audience, catching the lighting designers off guard. Having Tito on a chair dancing about 10 feet away was so much fun. (major understatement) The positive energy was palpable - their love of the music and dance just filled the room.

I don't think that it was videotaped; you might want to contact Arabesque Academy to see if it would be released in the future. I rather doubt it though.

(side note - Aida and Tito's workshops were amazing too.)

I was at that show too!

It was fantastic to see the transformation from the sweaty, no make up, head-wrapped, glasses-wearing lady (complete with ankle and knee supports) who was teaching the workshop earlier that day to the elegant diva who appeared on stage in that very classy, body-type (and) age-appropriate costume that night. I thought her costume was fabulous. When she first came out it looked like she was wearing a sort of dress over leggings because she had a sparkly rhinestone belt across the middle. During the course of the dance, the belt came off and the "dress" became more like wings or a veil which she used to simple but great effect. Very clever design and use. I also loved how her arms were covered but were also open and highlighted with the same sparkly rhinestones as the belt.

Yep. Aida and Tito knocked our socks off. Though I confess I wasn't wearing any to start with ..g.:
