    Gina of Georgia

This weekend, I went to Gina's workshops in Jacksonville, FL. What a great experience! She is extremely professional, has a beautiful polished style and is alot of fun to be around. She is based in Atlanta, her website is Gina Raks Ladies in the Southeast and beyond - check her out!!!

I remember Gina really stood out in the nearly 6-hour show that IAMED put on last year. She was one of my favorites! I'm a fan!

She'll be teaching in and performing in Orlando at Aziza's birthday bash.

Gina is one of the most elegant and graceful dancers I have ever seen. She is a funny girl too...makes me laugh ;-)

She is amazing, funny and a great teacher. Luckily, us gals in Georgia get to see a lot more of her. Can't wait to take her classes in August at Southern Fusion Fest.

Yes they are lucky, she got her start here in Vegas with us, but headed for Georgia, she is a sweetheart, I danced at her going away party, which was a lot of fun, looking forward to seeing her at the Orit event!!

I'm bringing this thread back to life because I think Gina deserves a lot of recognition! I just hosted her in Dallas this past weekend and her talent blew me away. I brought her in because I had seen her before and really enjoyed her performances and classes and sweet personality, but she was even BETTER!

She has this formal dance training that she seamlessly fuses with Raks Sharqi to make Bellydance all her own. She is one of a kind.

She performed 3 dances in the show: Tango Orientale, Raks Sharqi and a bad -ass "I've never seen anything like it before in my life" drum solo!

Her classes were amazing, too. She taught tango orientale and latin jazz arab fusion - both totally fun and inspiring.

Since I got to chat with her a little, I got to see her unmatched work ethic. She has such high standards for herself and Bellydance. It made me feel like I really to kick it up about 100 notches in my art!

I had many of my students ask, "Why haven't I heard of Gina before now?" That's a good question. She deserves this fan page and every accolade that comes her way. A true talent who spends all her free time improving her art! She left me speechless!

Love Gina! As soon as hubby finishes school (June...yaaay!) and can watch the little one, I will get back to taking privates with her. :) If you get a chance to do a private lesson with her, please treat yourself! She is a fabulous instructor and a very fun person.

Hear hear! Man, her Tango Orientale piece on Saturday was incredibly beautiful, and the class on Sunday kicked my butt! I hope she will come back soon. :)

Gina is awesome! I met her first time at the Belly Dancer of the Universe competition 2010 last February.
She and I end up performing to both of our love Tango Orientale piece in the Fusion Category, and she won I believe 2nd runner up with that piece. She actually performed Yamil's choreography really well with her signature moves. I changed the choreography almost 90%....she rocked that one I must say! I admired her stage presence and technicality and strong dance backround gave me inspirations...
I did not get to see her drum solo but hey she won..I cannot wait to watch at the Champions DVD Atlantis will bring out soon.
    Go Gina!
