    LOVED Jim Boz's workshop!

I had such an awesome day, wish I could go to part II tomorrow. (sniff)

I think this was the most fun I've ever had in a workshop. Jim kept us laughing the whole time. And finally, finally, FINALLY someone who teaches the way I learn. Explanation: my body absolutely refuses to learn anything until my brain understands what I'm supposed to be aiming for and why and how. Jim was AWESOME at explaining everything before and after and was very generous with his knowledge. Because my mind was prepared for each new movement, I was able to learn so much faster than I usually do in a workshop. I was relaxed and ready to try. It also helped that he broke everything down slowly and patiently. I loved that the workshop time was divided between theory, technique, and choreography. I could absorb something different from each approach. Very worth the money! Highly recommended! Thanks Jim!!

    Me too!

Im a JB fan as well. I usually dont do well with choreo, but he broke things down and made it simple, so I could learn a complete choreo in 2 hours.

I'm looking forward to taking Jim's workshop at Cairo Carnivale this coming Saturday afternoon.

I've not taken a workshop with him before, although I've visited with him briefly, and have heard good stuff about him. Looking forward! ..g.:

I'm sorry I missed you Joanne! So glad you and Jewl hooked up at the show and workshop. I had a gig during the day, and was booked at HoM that night....
Hopefully Jewl and I will see you at the Delilah show and workshops in September, they are both on a Saturday.....
Maybe we'll have to get JimBoz back out to Colorado again......(and you out of Wyoming!) .w.:
No offence to the Wyoming people on the board -

Honestly, I think Boz is one of the most underrated workshop instructors in the U.S. He somehow manages to be organized and methodical, while still being so much fun you laugh throughout the workshop. I can't wait for him to come back to the midwest - in August with Kimarhi, and in September with Shaia! Lucky us!

Thanks Maria! It was great to get out of town, and I'm finally starting to be able to figure my way around Denver a little bit.
