Anyone else a Jillina fan?

I also have her new set and I have to say her teaching has really improved insofar as she goes over the technique many, many times as well as the combinations much more than she did in her earlier instructional videos.

I LUV Jillina! I have her instructional bellydance DVDs and I find them fabulous. Her choreos are easy to follow and they leave room for adding your own flair and layers as you progress.

She put on a stellar performance at Ahlan wa Sahlan this year, she was the headline dancer at the closing party, and she rocked the house! I have seen her several times before but never quite like this. She got a standing ovation and so deserved it! Even Dina and Randa didn't get that when they performed earlier in the week .

I love her too. SO is smitten. We went to a BDSS show one year and he blushed to take our picture. I love that they let you stay after the show to meet them. How cool is that?

Yes... absolutely love her. I have the first collection she relaesed, and as a matter of fact a duet partner and I performed our own verion of the egyptian pop choreography. It was also really well recieved by our audiences. I do have the second selection, and they are produced really well. I wasn't too fussed on thos choreographies till I got through to the parts of the DVD where she did live performances of the those choreographies. Oh wow, she was sensational.. So goes to show, nomatter how good these instructional dvd's are its still all in the delivery... I don't believe performance skills can be taught. We all have to work at it really hard I think.
Any way,,, we are really excited that Jillina is coming down under to Australia later this year. She comes to Sydney, so many of us here in Brisbane are planning on flying down for a few days to do some workshops and see her perform in a show. ....

ALSO< just saw that Jillina has just released new DVD's. Anyne bought those yet??
