To add to that very fine list (it is always fabulous to see my fellow Yinzers Ishtar featured):

NYC bands: Golem, Slavic Soul Party, Souren Baronian's Transition

From the Balkans: Kal!!! (these guys are touring the US right now, they are awesome, not to be missed), Yuri Yunakov (who had Seido's cusin in his band when he was in town - yeay!)

Pennsic favorites and fellow Darboukestanis: Mezmer Society, Baraka Mundi (I am not sure whether they are still active, they recorded two great CDs), Wine and Alchemy, Teribus and Nevik's solo project
