I adore her dancing, I could watch her forever. She has such soul and passion in her dance.....*sighs*

I met her in Oslo, Norway in 2003. She was there for the 1001 nights festival put on by my teacher Siri Ydistie. At the time i had just started taking classes a few months prior to her workshop and was too scared to attempt it. After the veil workshop i did attend was over we went next door to watch Lulu. Amazing!! She is also a total sweetheart. She was gracious and encouraging. She took the time to really chat with me and i hadn't even taken her workshop. I am so glad someone else has found her. Someone please bring her to the U.S.!!!!!!!!

I love her style,(even though it´s so different from my other teachers style)so I have been running,
to all her workshops in Sweden with different sponsors...

Not only a very nice person,she has this dainty "happy feet"
that is GLUED to the floor whenever she wants them to!:O

Julias, I have taken class from her when she was in Stockholm, 2003 or 2004 maybe and an yes she is such a nice person, a total sweatheart!

Emma-Bessa, that costume in your clip is to die for *wants*

The funny thing about Lulu is that when I first saw her off stage I didn´t regocnize her, she is so tiny. But on stage she feels larger than life!

Hei du! jeg har aldre vaert i stockholm. min norsk er sa darlig na. jeg har ikke vaert der i nesten fire ar.
i am originally from the US but married a norwegian and lived there for almost 5 years. It is a shame. i had some swedish friends and understood it pretty well but i was only taught norsk bokmal.
watching Lulu clips on youtube has really inspired my dancing. i can't wait to dance tomorrow night. She is delicate yet so powerful in her dancing.

Yes,Lulu inspires me also...not only because she has a different more dramatic style than my other teachers-
she´s a grandmother too(:O!),
with lots of vitality and energy in her personality on and off stage.

When in Brazil I took some more lessons in her style(Lulu herself was on tour at that time)and was impressed at her students engaged way of seeing bellydance as a "way of life",
not "a dance".

Nei!!!! den forste video er fra dansestudioet pa grunerlokka i oslo!!! De forste sted var laerte jeg megedans. ogsa hadde vi meissoun den neste ar pa danse fest.
Jeg savner folk fra norden. noen ting er umulig a forklar til folk her.
Men na economik er sa darlig her. norsk og svensk kroner er mye mer en amerikansk $$$. Jeg vet ikke nar jeg kan reise der.

Emma-bessa, yeah she is the master of turns and spins. I will never forget the first time I saw her in that sunflower costume, she was pure fire and what was most breathtaking was the way she uses turns....I wish I could turn like that, I suck om turns:(

LOL, I did her shimmy technique class in Dallas a couple of weekends ago . . . amazing! and that was after her traveling steps workshop the day before . . . she kicked my butt for sure!!!

She is a great teacher, so funny too . . . watch for her comments about the princess and the prince, lololol!!!

We had a bunch of Brazilians show up from around the States so there was a bunch of chatter from some of her former students.

FYI, she will be on the DVD of the Saturday show performing twice . . . Baladi and oriental . . . then again, the whole DVD will be wonderful with Khaled, Nour and Ousama too!!!

My best workshop of the weekend ...her comments about 'Calendar girls' nearly made me cry... and her performance on Saturday really blew my mind.. my obliques are remembering her tenderly too, Ouch! I love people who make me want to work that little bit harder :o)

amazingly energetic performance. Looked incredible. Great teacher, great at visualisation aids! and breakdown. Loved it!
