Oh, I disagree I took a workshop with him and LOVED it. I very much felt like I learned quite a few new things. Why didn't you enjoy your experience? I thought it was great.

I took his shabbi and oriental workshops in 2007, and loved them. There was almost no breakdown, and it was all follow the bouncing butt, but I thought that was par for the course with an Egyptian instructor.

took 3 workshops with him....most are the same moves in my opinion...but cute guy with awesome stage presence and great shimmies...I like how he teaches, but I like different combos...
compare to what I have learnt in 3 workshops from Mahmoud Reda...hmmmm maybe I save my money and wait for Mahmoud Reda...

Great Tacher? Nawww, good for beginner level dancers because its pretty easy and it IS fun to be able to get things in a workshop that you can do pretty easily. He teaches no technque so he doesnt have to be the bad guy and correct people. His workshops are fun and upbeat and you do get a cardio workout so you really feel you have got your monies worth.
Tito is a great showman but my American attention span enjoyed him most the first 3 times in the same show, the 5th appearance was "Nice" and I appreciated his physical efforts but felt it was a little over kill by that point.

I took a workshop with him as well. I liked the choreos he taught, but I did feel like there needed to be choreo breakdown. At the beginning of the choreo he broke things down at a nice pace, but toward the middle of the workshop he started sppeding through.

If you ask him, he will breakdown the movements.

I very much enjoy his dancing and I'd definitely take another workshop with him.
