Going to Ava Fleming this weekend!

I am so excited about the Ava Fleming workshop in Asheville. Asheville is where my heart is (I went to UNC-Asheville). Anyway, it should be a blast to dance with Ava (and have my butt kicked) AND to get to hang out with college buddies. It will be worth the four hour drive by myself.

I only get to stay for one day of the workshop, but I am really looking forward to the Gala on Sat night.

Ava is one of those dancers that makes me stop whatever Im doing, put down the shiny bedlah and WATCH. Have a great time!! Lisa Zahiya is amazing as well - great sense of humor.

The workshops were GREAT! She kicked our butt...but in a good way. I really liked how she took the time to get to know us and even remembered all of our names...LOL...She was alot of fun, very knowledgeable and a super sweet person!!

Yeah and she is one of the most athletic belly dancers I've ever seen!

Yes, I went by Monika there..I was the one..I think was sitting near you when we were telling her about ourselves..I mentioned that I was a photographer and had my own business and had 3 kids ages 16, 6, and 3. My dance name is Amara, but I didnt go by that there. I think I know who you were too...but I didnt want to look like a dork if I was wrong..LOL

Andalee...the sunday was fun...at the end she did her typical workout..and it was tough!!

It was a fantabulous weekend!!! Mizz Ava AND Mizz Lisa Z definitely rock! Everyone was awesomely nice and i agree it was very nice to place faces with names. Now how many of you have started a sticker collection at home?!?!? ..l;,
