    OMG, I love Amany!! I was lucky enough to meet her when I was in Cairo recently too. All the dancers I met who know her have giant dance-crushes on Amany. She is so knowledgable, has a lovely poise and sweetness to her, and is so articulate in English too (which is a nice bonus for the anglophones)

    She is gorgeous too, but you can't even hate her for it because she is so nice. I have no idea why she's not more famous. Why do you think that is, Marie?

    On a more superficial note, I love how the (lycra?) skirt she wears in the second half of the first video transforms a fairly old-style bedlah into a modern, Egyptian-style costume.
