This is what she taught up to about 2:50, but then she stops doing the choreography as is just playing around with the veil. (**goes and sits in the corner** Once again I've posted without seeing ALL of the posts. teehee)

I've got a video of me screwing up the dance during one of the runthroughs at the workshop (Aziza was not filmed). I'm going to try and write out the choreography (I'm working on writing out the zill one too- I can actually remember that one really well-woot!) and would be happy to share with others from the workshop. I'm not putting the veil video on youtube though, it was just so I could remember the dance once i got home =o)

The song title for the zill dance is "Wa Marret Al Ayam". It's track number 3 on the Veena and Neena Bellydance Oasis Cd.

...You were the one who danced that super cute solo (with that goofy song I can't remember the name of)...right? I did a solo and then I did a cane dance with two of the girls in my troupe.

Yes, that was me. I remember the cane dance. I remember seeing your name on the program, but there were so many dancers I didn't know my head is swimming -- Can you describe your solo?

I was in a tan/nude costume (and I'm REALLY short) and I danced to Zeina (sp?). I'm totally fine with people not remembering it though (haha) cuz it was totally improv and if I watched the video I'd probably be appalled...

The cane dance was super fun to do though and people seem to have liked it...yay!

I really really wanted to go, but finances but a stop to it. The dollar is up against the swedish krona again, after being really low for a while.

But we are having her here in Sweden first weekend in september! Really looking forward to it. Also hoping to meet up with some eurobhuz again

We just had a workshop with Ava here the beginning of March. At the end of the workshop the organizer announced that next year she has Aziza scheduled. I am so excited... especially after reading all the good things everyone has written here.

Just back from the weeklong in Orlando and it was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!! She's amazing - we drilled, worked out, worked on technique, had individual critiques and learned three choreos!

I can't say how great that week was - it comes highly recommended from me!
