Tribal Butterfly, if you are comparing her in U.G. to what troupe she's in now - its kinda unfair IMO because you're comparing apples to oranges. I guess some dancers think she oozed stage presence out of the womb and did not gain it with experience like the rest...c::

What should Rachel have done in this clip, stopped in the middle of the choreo and done a backbend?

Good point, Eshe. The thing about troupe dancing is to make the Troupe look good, not to make individuals look good.

I think this clip is a lovely example of a Tribal style piece, and I think RB is just fine in it. It is exactly what it is meant to be, and well done at that. Its got Tribal style and look and personality. The newer style of fusion evolved from things like this. . . and I think that often gets forgotten.

It is called an opinion...ie what you think of something. I was mainly posting it out of interest as I know a few people would not of seen it.
I think she is an amazing dancer but for me it goes to show that yes she can do that style as well as her fusion but not all dancers suit all styles (obviously).
I wish people wouldnt bite your head off sometimes for having an opinion.

Simply think "Oh, I could see where the tone of my "not impressed" could read as stronger than intended...and by the same token perhaps I am taking these comments as more forceful then they are intended."
