Yes Delik is a beautiful dancer!!! I saw her dance a couple of weeks ago and always enjoy her performances.

I will be travelling to Turkey this August, I will come back with some great Roman material...
also I have a workshop to teach in Mexico City in Thanksgiving if anyone is travelling that direction or coming to SD I will be starting teaching workshops in various materials.

Which one?

Two of the performances are live music (one with the complete band Middle Earth Ensemble, Middle-Earth Ensemble, the other at Zorba's restaurant, featuring drummer Frank Lazzaro from the Middle Earth group), and one is pure John Bilezikjian - who was there as a special VIP guest - part of a fund raising effort San Diego dancers were doing for John to help defray his medical costs!

It's on Bellylicious CD - or am I thinking of something else entirely? Anyway, I do like Dilek a lot - she is a fantastic dancer.

aweee thanks...it is totally improvised. OMG I got the music when I was in Turkey, loved it, and did not even have time to practice to it...I said OK I will just have to do it.
Hope to get the Saturday night show clip...that is totally 9/8 Romani style.

When are you in Istanbul-I´m getting hernia surgery so I´m not very active at the moment...but I´m definitly interested:)

oh yeah she is so sweet
ohhhh I had hernia surgery too...2 years ago...it was small but could not dance for about 6 weeks.
I will go back to Istanbul next year, so you have time ;)
