Ahmed Fekry- I love him!

I came across Ahmed Fekry's videos on youtube one time and I just adore his cane choreography and laid back style.

He's also very nice! (at least through youtube messages)

I'd love to have him come teach in the US some day...

Anyone else heard of him?

I see now he's taught at the Nile Group Festival... I figure that's pretty big, maybe he's more popular than I thought.

It'd be good to know, If I thought people would be interested I'd seriously consider finding a way to get him here to teach a workshop in Missouri... perhaps.

Ahmed Fekry is very high profile in Europe, he lives in Germany and teaches at the Nile Group and the Stockholm Bellydance Festival. I believe he's taught all around Europe since I moved from there 5 years ago. He's very talented and a great persona. Uncle Ahmed *giggle*

Yeah he is pretty well known and for good reason, he is good! He was the first person I learned shaaby from many years ago at the Nile Group festival. He is very talented and can teach all kinds of different dance styles. He is a fabulous teacher and I would love to see him come to the US and teach, I certainly would want to take from him if he comes here. And yes he is very personable.

:) I really want to take lessons with him someday- I am really loving the kindof laid back shaaby kind of style lately and I think that might be why I like his stuff so much.

When I went to Egypt I was all excited...then he said he was living in Germany and would be in Cairo a few weeks after I left (ha) nice timing huh lol.
