and check the other clips by the same user, there are Farida Fahmy and Mahmoud Reda dancing - and Raqia Hassan. Unfortunately Raqia is not
dancing like I would have wanted.

Until now, I have not seen a clip of her.

But back to Fifi, and since I seem to prefer this central forum, I did not open a
fan forum for her yet. Yep, I am confused what to do..w.:

Nice. The guy didn't look terrified of her--remember the guy in the pink pants clip who looked as if he might pee himself? This guy, despite his pimp daddy shirt and perm-mullet, looked like he was really into it!

Isn't she lovely? I've seen that clip before (actually, i have a vague memory of seeing it on satellite telly!) and she is just brilliant.

I think the user 'sbarack' from Hungary refers to Jaqueline (go go girl) being Raqia but I am not sure if she looks like Raqia, not used to see her dancing like that!

offtopic - I liked the go go dancer, I thought is was a cute clip, obviously part of a tableau for stage, and did not reflect badly on the dancer.

Also, the Fifi clip is great up till the point where she and mullet man get hot and heavy. Ew.

The one with the pink leggings...that is definitely from a movie as well as I recognise the actor

...but there is something not right with that clip to my eyes - I'm suspecting that the song (habibi ya aini by Maya Yazbek) was overdubbed and wasn't what Fifi may have been dancing to originally...it's just a suspicion but her movements don't accurately portray the music...

Yuuuuuup, dat's Fifi.
That show was a talent show on LBC on Thursday nights, they often used to have 'guest' judges on it alongside all the other recogniseable Lebanese celebrity faces ... you'll often see the 'village' dancers who were competing uploaded on to youtube. some were good...some not so good.

p.s. the 'khaleegi' video...that was the first time i ever saw Fifi dance...and oddly enough - i uplodoaded a still from that VHS into my gallery only the other day.
