I'm totally in love with her ways and her voice and the song Taheya Carioca is dancing to later! The titles at 1:59 say I believe performed by Mawaheb, "Gamalo Yamma" is dancing to later.

I poked around a bit and can't find her listed at the big music sites I normally hit. Those sites tend to be a little sparse on the older singers, though. Sorry I couldn't locate any info on her.

In the titles announcing Taheya Carioca after the scene with Samia Gamal, the singer is announced as "Mawaheb".

But I don't have an Egyptian hubbie nor do I speak Arab nor do I know which film the scene is from so really I wouldn't know how to research.

I know that through translating machines you can get the Arab spelling and then reenter the Arab word in the search, but I couldn't check the results...
