    Fascinating Article from 1971 about the Golden Era Greats!!

    I got lost in this article from September/October 1971 Aramco World magaizine on my mobile last night. It was so fascinating, it tells very detailed accounts and quotes on the dance lives of greats like Suheir Zaki, Nagwa Fouad ( didn't know she ran away from an arranged marriage) Samia Gamal ( I love what she said about having dignity and not expressing overt sexuality) and others... If you love Golden Era dancers and you haven't seen this, get comfy and enjoy :D

    I love this article. I cracked up when I read Said's article about Tahia Carioca and how her open mouthed smile was very alluring, because thanks to this article I know she danced with her mouth open because she had asthma!
