Me, too!!! I have *most* of the dvds that she's on AND I bought one of her costumes that I love & like to think brings me great juju! I totally love-love-LOVE AHAVA!!! ...And I've loved her from the very first time I saw her perform live (I believe it was the 1st time Fifi was in Dallas brought by DeeDee and Little Egypt Productions).

Thanks so much for posting the vids, Maria--every time I see Ahava's beautiful luminous smile and her spectacular dancing, I swear, my heart smiles, too!

Glad to see this thread. I'm a huge fangirl, and I'm lucky that she's here in the Bay Area so I can have regular chances to see her. Not only that, but she teaches at the studio where I just started going to classes. The time slot for her class is close to impossible for me right now, but I'm going to find a way to make it happen!

I'm super lucky to be in the Bay Area and share a venue with her, so I get to see her somewhat often - she just totally rocks. And she's pretty darn sweet, to boot :)

My instructor showed us some clips of her in class (wish I knew what they were from) and that was the first time an American dancer had made me cry. She has such presence, just on video - I can't imagine what it's like live. She's so Egyptian. You can't not look at her. Such grace, subtlety, nuance, pulling energy from the music. She actually feels the music, and makes such sweet intensity and joy from it.

I wish we had more dancers like that.
