and some really fabulous dancers that I got to meet and dance with-AND Georges Lammam! Yes, I had the incredible opportunity to take a private class with Amina in San Fransisco and then got to dance with George Lammam and his ensemble!

It was a fabulous experience all around-Amina was gracious and full of information and helped me refine some of my techniques. I cannot begin to dance so gracefully, but I'll keep trying!

Friday night I got to dance at Pena Pachamama with George Lammam and his ensemble of great musicians. Karolina was the first dancer and was fabulous! She moves so beautifully. Kim was the next dancer and I really enjoyed speaking with her beforehand-a really lovely person-she danced great! And she made her own costume! I was the last dancer and got to dance to Aziza and Alf Leyla-I played zills at the very end, and danced my butt off. It was a pleasure to dance with George Lammam and band and the audience was small but enthusiastic. yay! So Thank you San Fransisco! I'll be back! (said in horrid governor shwartzeneger voice.....)
