She used to perform all the time at top night clubs around Cairo but right now she and her band do mostly big private events there. She also travels a lot. I would say she is well known in Cairo.

I have actually exchanged e-mails with her in the past and its my understanding that she is or at least used to be (depending on how frequently she is still performing) a popular dancer for weddings in Egypt. She used to dance at the Nile Maxime. I know that she performs at the Nile Group Festival. She will be in Dallas, TX in July 2010. She does some shows in Russia as well.

May I just add that she is a fabulous teacher also. If you ever get the chance to study with her. Do it! So emotive and technically demanding at the same time. Her choreography is the perfect balance or true passion and flawless execution.

I had to bring this one back! I LOVE Nour! Finally got a chance to see her perform live (at Ahlan Cairo Nights) and she was just lovely! She's also a great instructor as well. Very friendly and approachable!

yep- another HUGE fan! did her workshop, saw her shows, and had a private lesson at Ahlan Cairo nights 2010.... she's the SWEEEETEST!!! She's such a *classy* beautiful performer and a 1 hour lesson w/ her was just.. incredible, I didn't know someone could pick up on soooo many things about me in such a short time, dance-wise and life-wise! She's just a gorgeous person. And I vote her and yasser cutest couple ever. :)

Gotta say that the 2 times Little Egypt brought Nour (with Yasser, Osama Emam, et al) to Dallas, the shows where tremendous! She is so versatile . . . doing many different styles. Her costumes suited her so well . . . loved them. I was so happy to be able to go to both of these shows. Hopefully, Little Egypt will bring them back again . . . probably somewhere else in the States though . . . I know how this goes . . . Dallas first (and maybe 2nd) then on to L.A., Miami, Montreal/Toronto or DC!!!

Yep, this is wonderful that Dee Dee is bringing them back early next year. I had the pleasure of taking a workshop from Nour at Ahlan Cairo Nights a few weeks ago, and I have to admit, she is absolutely fantastic. A true inspiration. It's a bit far for me to plan, but I plan on going! Thanks for posting.
