Sa'diyya!

I was watching "Combination Nation" yesterday with a friend and absolutely FELL IN LOVE with Sa'diyya of Texas.

She has great musicality, and beautiful technique...not to mention that she is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

The combination she taught on the DVD was super cute. So, my friend and I searched youtube and found some videos. I love this one:

We are lucky to have her here in Texas-she danced at the Austin Bellydance Convention recently and did a fabulous Khaleegi number.

She is a sweet heart too. I asked her permission to use her beginner drum solo and she happily obligied. It's the cutest thing ever.

I was lucky enough to attend her how-to-choreograph workshop at Austin Belly Dance Convention earlier this month. She's a great teacher as well as a fantastic dancer. And her Danza Della Luna troupe is amazing!

Sa'diyya is all around awesome....dancer, choreographer and person! I was fortunate enough to be able to take class with her before she stepped out on her own and a few times since. She is so enjoyable as a teacher and just fabulous to watch. She was kind enough to let me and two friends perform her beautiful Ocean choreo! She even choreographed a personalized drum solo for me! She just rocks! We are very lucky to have her here in Texas!
