Is this the same dancer? If so, she was at Camp Negum. I thought she was quite lovely and enjoyed her performance. I liked her costume too.

I really like the second performance. BUT~ am I correct in that is a baladi piece, and is she dancing baladi to it? I'm still getting a hang of baladi versus regular egyptian style. I do love her style, though, regardless.

Yes it's a baladi and she's dancing it nicely.

She is a very elegant dancer, not the "typical" baladi dancer (it's always Fifi in the back of my head). But maybe that's also the type of persona you have, to me she's just not an earthy type, which doesn't mean she can't do baladi.

Such an amazing technique. How do they all manage?

I also really like the clip that's been posted here on bhuz, the recent one where she dances a choreo by Yasmina of Cairo. That costume is also great.

I liked both clips, especially the second. That's because on the second she really reminded me of Suheir in appearance (similar body type, hair, face, costuming) and did some Suheir-like moves at times.
I'm also totally jealous of her body.
And yes, she might not be super earthy, but that's her style and it's valid even for baladi, IMO. Suheir was floaty, too.

I didn't doubt your titles for a second, sorry if it sounded like that to you. There are just so many competitions worldwide right now, many talents, many winners. So if a dancer is advertised as a competition winner and great and best...well there was someone else with the same words probably just five minutes before. So that was the thing I wrote about.

Btw. I learnt your baladi choreo to the song "Yasmina" which you uploaded and offered to the community: it's fun and nice! So thank you.
