Maybe we make a little shrine for this dancer personality? There have appeared new clips of hers. She's fun to watch, she seems very impulsive and fearless in her way of dancing.

I just got back from Egypt where I watched her show twice and took a workshop with her - I loooooooovvvee her! she is so wild and fun. And her workshop was really great as well. I took some video of her from Nile Group, I will try to upload some of it :)

Camellia is one of the dancers that Caroline and I are thinking of organizing a private workshop with for our group in our "Egypt Live" tour next June. Of course, it will depend on whether Camellia is in town, and whether she has time in her schedule, and whether there is interest among our group members....

I could be interested, Shira!! I saw her on the Grand Hyatt back in February and before that at AWS in 2004 . . . she is fun to watch. Has a bit of the Mona Said sassiness which I like.

I am a huge fan of Camelia, she has brought something really interesting to the dance, she can be wild and feminine but lacks the agressiveness some of the other dancers are producing at the moment. Some people find Camelia a bit too cheeky but I admire her confidence.

yes, we will definately be seeking her out for the trip. We saw her back in April on the Hyatt too. She generally doesnt travel as often as some of the other dancers.

I really like her style. If there is a current Egyptian star right now whose style fits my personality, its her. I love that first video of her doing saidi in her own crazy way. Plus she is the hotness. Does she have any performance or otherwise DVDs out or is it just Youtube clips?
