Couldn't find a fan thread for her yet, but she certainly deserves one ..g.: I only knew Ruby from her Floorwork DVD, which I love, but I had the pleasure to meet her in Portland this May and omg she totally rocks!

Beautiful dancer, beautiful person, smart, funny AND she'll be visiting Germany this November, yay!! So proud to be able to host her, my students are lucky ..l;,

She'll have another DVD out on Turkish dance soon

I was lucky enough to see her perform a couple years ago here on the East Coast at the East Coast Classic, which I believe she won, and she blew me away. I totally relate to her style.

I love Ruby! I try to show up whenever she's dancing in Seattle. A truly amazing dancer and fabulous teacher. I'm trying to snag all the teaching time I can while she's somewhat local because I think in the next few years she'll be a very big deal.

I love Ruby's style too! And I also own one of her old costumes- it's one of my faves so she has great taste too!!! ;)
I definetley find her 'fresh' beautiful and exciting!

I saw Ruby when I was in Seattle last year . . . really liked her. I would love to get her down to Texas . . . so prodding someone I know who sponsors ppl. But it might be too early as she is still a bit of an unknown.

I have both her Turkish and her Floorwork DVDs. They are both solid DVDs with well-broken-down moves. She has a veil piece on the "extras" of the Floorwork DVD that is fantastic. Would love to see her do a veil DVD.

I thought this thread deserved to be revived.

Although, she is now Ruby of Las Vegas.

I love Ruby's energy and style. I am currently in the process of booking her to come to Chicago.

I had the pleasure to take a workshop with her at Camparet, wow amazing teacher and dancer and very nice. Hope she comes back to the southwest :-)

Didnt get to take her workshop at Bahaia's Dance Camp last weekend but she rocked the house when she performed Saturday night!!! What an amazing dancer. Just got her Arms DVD can't wait to get into it.

Fresh off a two day workshop with Ruby in Victoria, BC. Not only is she a lovely person and amazing dancer, she is an excellent teacher. Turkish Oriental is a new style for me and it was fun trying it on! Her teaching is clear and concise and she creates a very fun environment. In retrospect, it was actually pretty amazing how much info she packed in to the weekend without it getting overwhelming - I took away a ton of great stuff! Check out her workshops if you get the chance!
