Just got back from Ava Fleming's workshops in Chicagoland. O.M.G. I am now an Ava fangirl. She can really dance and she can really, really teach. Fabulous!

I know right?! She came to Art of the Belly in OC Maryland last March and I took one of her workshops. She was amaaazing! Im taking another workshop and hope to see her dance at Rakkasah this October :).

Agreed. I took a workshop with Ava a few years ago and was totally amazed at how she was able to teach all different levels yet meeting the needs of all dancers at the same time. And her dancing is ethereal, out of this world!

Just got back from a weekend packed with Ava

Yesterday we had a big show in Brussels. And our troupe got to do a fusion choreography together WITH Ava. It was SO much fun!
Today, I took 2 WS with her. Challenging.
but she's GREAT! not only as a dancer but also as a person.
She's so funny. LOL. She didn't even oppose to our idea of using pompoms as a prop when our teacher was away for 5 minutes during rehearsal...
