Been having a clearout of dvd's, found another one, Ozel Turkbas, don't really know much about her aprt from the fact that she's a great dancer..g.:

Anyone shed some light, not too sure how old the dvd is, does she still teach, anywhere you can see her perform?

Holy crap, you found Ozel?!? Are you selling it? Is it just her, or is it a compilation? I would be very interested in purchasing.

To give a short answer to your question, Ozel Turkbas is a Turkish belly dancer, did lots of movies there and was very famous, moved to the US, danced here (in the 70's), is hugely responsible for making belly dance accessible to the common masses through her books and records. Amazing dancer, just gorgeous, but I don't think she performs anymore, retired to Florida I believe.

It is just Ozel on the dvd, it is the How to belly dance dvd, not looking to sell at the moment.
