Thanks for sharing the photos! Beautiful! Such lovely costumes and she is a beautiful woman. She's definitely my belly dance crush!

She became my favorite dancer since when I first posted this topic in October of last year, when I first saw her.

I have seen all the videos of her that are currently on youtube. She hasn't posted a new one in a little while... I hope she or someone posts more soon. I need to ogle at more of her awesome dancing!

Me too! I like each new video more than the last...

I mean, I've liked her since I first found her and most of her available videos were older ones of her faster, more complex, more varied style.

But I am noticing that with time, she has started to really settle into the music and herself, her dancing looks less complex, there are less "tricks," and I like it even more now.

I think it may also be that she's improvising more than she used to. The older videos, where her dancing is more complex, seems that most of those videos are choreographed. While recently she seems working with live musicians more or noting in the video title/credits that shes improvising.

Yes, but there are older videos of her working with live music and improvising, where she doesn't really display those characteristics, and the improvisation looks much like her choreographies. So I think the fact that most of her recent videos are improv is probably a part of it, but I don't think it's all of it.

She's beautiful, and she's fluid, and she has some awesome technique. But does anyone besides me find her posture a little odd? Maybe she has a natural slight swayback, or something.

I thought that when I first started watching her, but I don't find it odd now. I don't know if it's me getting used to her or if it has changed, or a little bit of both.

Either way, someone pointed out before that it might not be so much a swayback but more that she arches her upper back a lot. I kind of agree with that explanation, it doesn't look so much that her pelvis is dropped but more that her upper back is curved. And she does have a very flexible upper back, so it makes sense.

BTW she's coming to the US (NYC) in July, Yousry Sharif is sponsoring her along with Virginia, Amir Thaleb, and Yasser (the singer in some of Aida's videos).
