    Question what happened to sonia

    of BDSS? she doesn't dance with them anymore, and I haven't found a website or anything about her. I love her drum solos, so graceful and emotive. what's she up to??

    Her website used to be www.soniadances.com, but it now redirects to the bellydance superstars website. I wonder how she's doing.

    She's still around. She and Aubre (also former BDSS) are putting on a show in the LA area...they tried to do it 2 weeks ago but had a problem with the venue.

    I think Sonia and Aubre are both doing one-off gigs with BDSS though (I know at least Aubre was going to Raks Britannia this year) but they are no longer under contract.

    I'm told there is no Raqs B this year. Is this so?
    The concert tour is still going ahead.April.

    Oh really!? Aubre mentioned she was going to the UK with BDSS so I assumed it was for Raks B and that she was doing workshops; sorry, perhaps it's just for a concert?

    ETA you're right I just found this on Aubre's site:

    Aubre is thrilled to be joining BDSS again for performances in France, Spain, and the UK.

    Interesting. I wonder if RAQS LA is still going to happen? Perhaps this is why we could only find last year's dates on their site a while back...
