Tarik Sultan (Just had two workshops and a PRIVATE with him last weekend!). He's great, no stupid male tricks, no masculinizations - just beautiful (dare I say "Pretty"?) dancing - the way it should be!

Steven Eggers: This guy BLEW ME AWAY the first time I saw him. It was like "Where have YOU been my whole (dance) life?"

In love!!! Can someone tell me the name of the song they used? You can pm it to me if you like so I don't de-rail the thread. BUT WOW!!! Amazing dance...absolutely loved it...forced my boyfriend to watch. He loved it too and was "intrigued"

I finally had both time and bandwidth to watch this...

I certainly wouldn't confuse this with pure "Belly Dance" - way, waaay too much modern dance and athleticism thrown in. Not something I personally would, or could do - BUT there's no question that this troupe can dance. Looking at it from a "Modern dance with some Belly Dance thrown in" perspective, it was spectacular. They were all dead nuts on their choreography - and I liked their costumes very much. They looked like a modern interpretation of a classic Belly Dance costume - the way it should be, especially for their modern dance influenced performance.

Better yet, I saw a very good dance group performing very well. Not a group of males, or a group of females - just a group of dancers. Which is as it should be.
