    Re: Mohamed Shahin Workshop!

They were great! I took the oriental workshop and his shaabi workshop, and I felt his shaabi has really improved. I felt it was a little too oriental for my tastes in past years - but this choreography was great! It was so much fun and very shaabi.

I also felt the oriental choreography was much more intricate and interesting to me than past oriental workshops I've taken with him, he is really in a creative area right now as an artist.

And he has some exciting prospects of hopefully bringing some new artists to the United States for workshops, I hope that it happens! Also, Amala's show was wonderful, all the performers were so great and I got to see Mohammed do debke, which was new to me. Overall, it was such an awesome weekend, I'm already thinking of going down to his workshops at Saffron dance in DC and taking the same workshops!
