    Queenie (Belgium)

    I LOVE Queenie's dancing!
    I am lucky to be taking monthly private classes with her!
    She is an amazing teacher AND performer!

    Queenie won the Bellydancer of the World competition in Duisburg (hosted by the lovely Leyla Jouvana) last weekend, in a shared first place with Kateřina Kathreen Krejčová!

    She also won the Rising Star Award at the JOY festival :

    Queenie is PURE elegance!!! I have taken classes with her in the past & absolutely loved them!!! Unfortunately she's not teaching weekly classes in my neighbourhood currently, but I love the monthly private classes!!! (though the pregnancy is making me miss out on those as well... for now :p)

    Nothing but love for the girl, awesomeness!!!!!

    I'm in absolute awe every time I see her dance. She's so graceful. And a really nice person to boot.

    Queenie is a lovely dancer, a generous teacher AND a super nice person, truly a gem. If you ever get the chance to see her perform and/or study with her.. DO IT!!! :)

    She's lovely. I saw her in the competition at the Jewel of Yorkshire and she is teaching there next year.

    Wow, thanks ladies!

    I started dancing with Samyra (www.samyra.be), of the second generation bellydancers in Belgium. Her style is very feminine en elegant. My other influences are Aziza, Ava Fleming, Orit and I love love love the Golden era dancers. I've been into jazz dance, and lately I've been watching the Russian dancers a lot.

    Oh, and Jillian Michaels Although I need to re-visit her

    Aside from any influence, I really try to stay true to myself and my background, and to keep going for what I think is important and what I want to stand for.
