I strongly believe that people shouldn't be judged by the actions of their governments, or their religious leaders, or fringe fanatics within their religion.

Whole heartedly agreed. I've been in a PalTalk room "Tears for Iraq" or something of the sort. I was informed by the woman that ran the room that all Americans supported the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. When I told the woman that there were a great many Americans who were against it, she said "Well, there are a great many people all over the world against it!" as if I had said that to brag about Americans and like I thought it was something that made Americans unique. I wasn't, I was simply defending Americans by letting her know that there is a large group of us against the invasion.
