Need info about Zaza Hassan

Ok, this might be a stupid question, but is Zaza Hassan Egyptian or French? I just discovered a clip of him on youtube that I want to include in a presentation I'm giving, but I wasn't able to find a bio about him. Since my topic is the Middle East, I want to include Egyptian belly dancers.

If anyone has a website about him, that would be helpful too.

Zaza is an amazing performer and instructor born in Cairo. He focuses on Oriental & Classical as well as Folkloric Egyptian dance to name a few. He has been to the DC area twice in the last couple of years and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to study with him. His teaching style is delightful & his humor infectious! His choreographies are challenging but easily have portions that can be incorporated into your own shows, which he encourages. He really works you hard! His teaching style is very similar to Yoursy Sharif in some ways.

He is currently based in France & speaks Arabic, French & Italian. Though his English is limited, there was never a problem understanding his teachings. Everyone in his class had a blast! One of the last events I saw that he participated in was judging the LBC Belly Dance contest last fall that just finished airing. There is a thread on here somewhere...

If you ever have the opportunity to study with this master, you will learn so much & love every minute of it! Good luck!
