Thread: Any instructors in Watertown, WI???

So I have been singing the praises of bellydance to my sister-in-law for so long, that she now would love to take bellydance lessons herself. She's been having a really difficult time trying to find an instructor in the area, so I figured this would be a great place to try and help her find one. Any direction you could point me in so I could pass on the info would be great!

I hate to tell you this Stephanie, but I think our Germantown location is about as close as you're going to get. Madison's about equidistant, but she could take class with the unbelieveably fabulous Mona N'wal at The Madison Multicultural Dance Center.

Zahra Sagira is teaching in Sussex, Hartland and Waukesha...Sussex or Hartland might be closer for your sister-in-law in Watertown. Zahra is one of Samantha Fairuz's troupe members/protege. I will PM you with her email address and phone number.

Ooh, I didn't know Zarha was teaching in Hartland now - that's much closer than Germantown or Madison!

I *think* at this point Zahr's class in Hartland may be mainly level 1 and through a park and rec or something (though I don't know for sure, so don't quote me on that...she told me recently where all she was teaching but beyond that, what the heck do I know--I'm way the heck over in Mpls and I can barely keep track of what I'm doing on a daily basis! ,r:; ), so if/when the sister-in-law in question gets to higher levels she may need to drive to Madison, Germantown, Milwaukee or other places. But...I figured for a newbie beginner, the closer to home you can find a class, usually the easier it is to convince the newbie to get started. Then once they're hooked they'll drive most anywhere....
