Thread: Taking Faten's Friday class at Saffron? Driving from Woodbridge area?

NoVA dancers, please spread the word:

Faten Salama is looking for someone who can commit to giving her a ride every week in exchange for free tuition. The class is held on Friday evenings in Arlington, just a block west of the corner of Washington and Wilson Boulevards and the Clarendon Metro station. I'm not sure if she needs the Woodbridge-Clarendon-Woodbridge round trip every week or just a ride home, but in any case it's a nice deal if you can make the commitment! Her classes are wonderful -- the essence of earthy, elegant Egyptian -- and she's a great person to spend time with, so please don't hesitate to volunteer or pass this on if you know someone reliable who might be able to do it.

I'm sure one of the Manassas class dancers will agree to it (I'm one). Tonya usually drives her to the one here in Manassas, is she not doing it anymore? I'll ask her this Sunday, unless you will hear from her sooner than me. Thank you putting the word out there! I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for your response. Please don't ask Tanya. Faten is in good touch with Tanya, of course, and she's looking for help in part because Tanya has a lot going on right now and won't necessarily be making the drive up here to class every week.

In case it wasn't clear, this concerns only the class in Clarendon at Saffron Dance. I don't think there's a problem with getting Faten to Manassas -- I'm sure if there is, she'll be in touch with someone there. She is looking for someone who either takes the Clarendon class or wants to and is willing to make a commitment to be there every week.

Oh, I know it's the one in Clarendon. I thought Tanya was taking her to both studios every week. That's why I mentioned it. There is another woman in our class who lives up the street from her, so hopefully she hears the news.
