Thread: ISO teacher in Cambridge or Somerville MA

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I have a friend that just recently moved to Davis, MA and she is looking for a teacher in Cambridge or Somerville with a studio within walking distance of the subway. Any help is much appreciated.

Wow, well, she's spoiled for choice! I assume you mean your friend moved to Davis Square in Somerville. You don't say what level she's at or what style she prefers, but there are good choices for pretty much all levels and styles around Cambridge/Boston/Somerville.

Boston: Amira Jamal (She also teaches classes at Harvard in Cambridge)

Cambridge: Najmat

Somerville: Nadira Jamal

Cambridge: Meiver

These are all women I've worked with before and they teach great classes!

Your friend can also check out the teacher listings at Belly Dance New England to get an idea of which teachers are active in which towns.
