Bellydance Odyssey Productions is very excited to be hosting Shabnam Pena and Amy Sigil of Unmata as special guest instructors at this year's Hafla Santa Cruz.
Shabnam Pena was Bellydancer of the Universe (2005) and Bellydancer of the Year (2005). She will be featured in the 29th annual San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival June 9th and 10th. Shabnam's style is unrivaled and uniquley combines athleticism and grace. She will be teaching twon workshops during the weekend:

Super Flashy Combos
Unleash your inner diva! Shabnam will be teaching her sassiest, flashiest combos.
Saturday, June 23rd ~ 3:00-5:00 pm

Hipwork Intensive
A must class for all dancers looking to get sharp, precise hipwork and add new hipwork to their arsenal.
Sunday, June 24th ~12:30-3:30 pm


Amy Sigil will also be teaching two fabulous workshops.

UNMATA: The fast and the Furious
In this workshop Amy will lay down the foundation and technical breakdown of UNMATA's awe-inspiring omis, ferocious shimmies, and bad-ass body pops.
Saturday, June 23rd ~ 12:30 - 3:30 pm

Move You've Hopefull never Thought of Before
This fresh approach workshop will reveal the secrets of UNMATA's modern bellydance fusion. Curriculum can easily be adapted for tribal or cabaret disciplines.
Sunday, June 24th ~ 3:00 - 5:00 pm

Prices for workshops:
One workshop: $35 before 6/15 :: $45 after 6/15
Two workshops: $60 before 6/15 :: $80 after 6/15
Three workshops: $80 before 6/15 :: $90 after 6/15
Four workshops: $100 before 6/15 :: $110 after 6/15

Students who register for all four workshops will receive free admission to Hafla Santa Cruz/ Desert Rose Competition both days.
