Thread: Ice breaker/party games

Please help - I know there was a thread a while back that had lots of ideas for party games/ice breakers - and I know I saved it to a safe place - but in my baby mushed brain I can't find it! Does anyone remember it and know where I can find it ( the games not my brain - I fear thats gone forever!)

I don't think I participated in the thread but here is a super one we did once and it went smashingly well, if you have some time beforehand:

Have each of your guests email you with one interesting tidbit about themselves, something that not many people would know about him/her.

Write each "factoid" on a piece of paper and put in a hat or jar, etc.

As your guests arrive, hand them each one factoid from the collection of factoids. They eventually have to find their factoid owner by talking to everyone.

This works well with intimate as well as larger groups.

Are you looking for BD-related ideas?

Have each guest do a favorite bellydance movement, then put them in the order that the guests arrived and have everyone perform them in a circle together. Or break people into smaller groups and have them do the same thing.

Yes bellydance ones - either ones for complete beginners or ones you could use at workshops/haflahs with more experienced dancers
