Uggghhh, my choreography...
I hope this is the right place to put this...
Tomorrow I'm dancing at a street fair nearby. It's just an amateur thing, just for fun. Anywho, since it's kind of last minute (long story) I'm using a choreo that I put together that was originally going to be used as a duet (never was performed, another long story). For the most part, it will work great as a solo...possibly even better than it was as a duet. Unfortunately, there are some parts that obviously would look stupid with me by myself and I've been trying to tweak them, but my motivation and creativity is just not there.
I don't know if I'm looking for advice or just wanting to vent. Either way, here I am at the 11th hour and banging my head against the wall!

Obviously I don't know what kind of music it is or what style. Why do you think the "bits" without a partner will look stupid? Are they one-sided or bits where you don't do anything, or? They probably don't look as bad as you think. If in doubt, just do something else. After all, it's a solo - nobody will know.
What I would normally say is, you know the music, you know the movements you put to it - just dance.

I think I've pretty much gotten if figured out. Yeah, some of the parts are kind of one-sided. The song is Battle by Beats Antique. The parts that I know, I really really know, the new parts I added, I keep blanking on. *sigh* If all else fails, I'll just wing those parts!

In a similar situation, I had thought about all the stuff I could do, but ended up winging it for the actually performance, and found that the moves I came up with while actually performing were more inspired anyhow! So, winging it can actually turn out better sometimes than sticking to plan, I'd say. Have fun!
