Thread: Semi-private lesson with Raqia Hassan?

So a friend and I are thinking about getting a semi-private lesson this week (3-4 people). What should I expect? What should I ask for?

How about "a lesson for me and my friend" on the topic of what you and your friend both want to learn. You'll need to let her know that there are two of you, how long a lesson you want - she usually does hour-long lessons. You'll need to prioritize what you want to learn in Raqs Sharqi and/or Egyptian folklore. Raqia is wonderful for learning how to interpret music with movements, body language and gestures. You get the complete package from her. I learned a great deal from her in private lessons in technique, style, and expression.
