    Bellydance Costume advice video

    Lol it's been ages since i came to bhuz so i forgot how to embed a video. Well i was looking for costuming advice and i found this. Its pretty reasonable video so i thought lets be generous and share it with fellow bhuzzers. Guys please add me as your friend, i think im here over a month :(

    See, I disagree - the bigger you are, the less fringe you want. It makes you look bigger. But she gives pretty good advice for her own body type.

    I agree with Nepenthe. As a "bigger" girl, I find that too much fringe can actually make me look heavier. Bigger girls tend to get heavily fringed costumes thinking it will hide their bodies and make them look slimmer, it's not true.

    Same here. The fringe does not hide my belly but instead seems to sit on it. Not cute. I wonder if by big she meant more tall/longer torso.

    longer torso here- hate the way fringe looks on me. bella is pretty much my only exception to the lots of fringe rule. im not really sure why.

    The only time I like wall o' fringe on my bras is when the fringe isn't much longer than the bottom of my bra cup. that and a belly drape, other wise it's overwhelming.

    Now, I have seen dancers who can carry heavy bra fringe off. I have never taken the time to analyze why. . .
