Thread: So...who's coming to the US next year?

I'm itching to take from Aida Noor, Randa, Dina, Tito... and wanting to start making plans.

Dee Dee is bringing in Aida Noor in in the summer (yay Dee Dee!), but that is of course during my family's unchangeable vacation plans (go Pennsic!). ,f::
Any news of other stuff? New York? Canada? Las Vegas?

Chance are we'll have Mahmoud Reda in Iowa the weekend of July 11-12.

I did take her workshop at your hafla a couple years ago. Yeah, she's so awesome and I learned a great deal from her. Definitely one of the best workshops I've taken.

Nour of Cairo is coming to Dallas in March. I can't wait to study with her...she isn't over here that much.

Little Egypt Home Page
Little Egypt is bringing Nour along with Khaled Mahmoud (UK) and Ousama Emam (Lubna's brother). That is in March.

At the end of July, it will be Aida Nour, Lubna Emam, Asmahan and Dr. Mo.

Then sometime (possibly April-May), Randa and Dr. Mo in Miami.

It's too bad that Ahlan Cairo Nights in Montreal was cancelled - I just saw that today. I wasn't able to go this year anyway.

I would fly to Miami for Randa and Dr. Mo - I hope it's not on the two weekends I already have booked.

I am actually here in Egypt and just talked to Mohamed Kazafy today and he told me he will be teaching in August in the states. I believe Andrea in Florida is bringing him out. I will be taking a class with Ousama Emam for the first time, so I will see how he is. I do really like Lubna though. Aida was just in the US last month in Chicago and San Francisco, she is a great lady!!
Khaled Mahmoud is fantasic!! such a great teacher, it would be good to have him in the US.

Well, I don't think that was the original intent since bringing Fifi to Montreal next year was a possibility before they had to reschedule . . . but you never know what will really happen . . . 2009 looks like it is going to have a bit of a crunch in scheduling for Little Egypt. Speaking of which, I need to talk to Dee Dee about some other dance topics soon, hehe.

I'll be in USA August-September...
