Problem with sword. Can it be fixed?

My sword balances at an angle (/), instead of (I).

There aren't any washers in the handle.

Is there any way it can be corrected?

What do you use to clean your sword?

I call that a sleeping sword - when it looks like it wants to lay down on your head. Just hold it flat side across your thigh and press both ends - experiment with pressing and balancing. I think the problem lies with a slight bend in the sword - if you start pressing and it starts sleeping more, flip it over and press the other way. I can usually fix the problem in any sword this way.

My method is not scientific but it is effective. I simply place the flat side of the blade over my thigh, the side that tilts upward toward my leg. At the same time I gently press both ends of the sword a few times then check the balance on my palm. Repeat as needed until balanced. No tools or washers. Quick and easy. I check the balance prior to each use. Hope that helps, my explanation might be confusing. If I confused you let me know, I'll try to be more clear.

I use the exact method as txchic and it words well. just kinda keep bending it slightly till you find the magic angle.

What everybody else said, just make sure you bend it in the opposite direction that it is leaning towards. Sometimes if you look down the length of the sword you can see where the bend is, which is helpful in that you can try to unbend it in the exact spot.
