Thread: Any Lebanese instructional dvds?

I'm interested in finding a good Lebanese instructional dvd, are there any?

I would prefer technique/drills/combinations/flows (all or any) to choreography, but I'd like to know what's out there and what's good!

I haven't seen either, but Meissoun has one out (in several languages) and Aradia has a video with Egyptian/Turkish/Lebanese techniques.

I must admit I'm a bit surprised by the lack of information and interest. I am often drawn to Lebanese music, and thought it was about time I looked into it a bit more deeply.

I suggest watching videos of Hwayda Hachem, Amani and Samara, the old stuff, from the early 90's.

I think I'm probably going to go for Meissoun's dvd too, it sounds like just what I'm looking for.

Meissoun is teaching lebanese style at the JOY festival in April if you fancy a trip up North
