Thread: Good Beginners Class Teacher in Arcadia, CA?

Hi!

I have a shy friend who is a nurse and her work schedule changes weekly. She is interested in taking a beginners bellydance class in Arcadia, California. Could anyone recommend a good teacher who teaches beginners class, but which she doesn't have to attend every class weekly if she is working?

She hasn't taken any bellydancing classes before and she is not on bhuz. If you post here then I can let her know. I know more about the teachers in Vancouver, BC, Canada, but don't know much about the bellydance teachers in California.

She is a fabulous dancer and instructor as well as a super sweet person. I don't know of any classes where they don't meet once a week, your friend will just have to miss a class or two sometimes in a session no matter where she goes, or take private classes. Well, I do recommend you check out Shoshanna, she is well known and again a very good teacher.

Shoshanna is in *Arcata* (and fabulous, I agree!). But Arcadia is just north of Los Angeles. Probably a solid 700 mile commute to Arcata! :)
