EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOPS WITH
AND TEACHING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE UK
Eman Zaki
Four workshops over two days. The Saturday will be based on the work of
Farid et Atrash-Metharimsh el Omr, with a 30min intro then workshops from
Eman Zaki in the style of the ‘Golden Age’ of Egyptian Cinema.
Sara Farouk will be teaching a contemporary Egyptian approach to the same piece.
The groups will rotate between workshops throughout the day.
Sunday will include a 1hr 45min workshop with Eman covering 1960’s Baladi.
Sara will be teaching a loose choreography to the music of Nagat.
This is truly a unique chance, this is Eman’s first time teaching in the UK and
Sara is an inspirational teacher and dancer.
To get the best out of the weekend we recommend you try to attend all the
workshops, we do have various packages on offer.

Ooooh! I had heard Eman had started teaching! How cool.

Eman was telling me in June how excited she was to teach again, her classes are going to rock! Now who wants to bring her to America?!?!?

it is going to be so amazing to have her teach, she did her first workshop for Sara and myself and our group last year, it was a truly magic moment to see her dance all those amazing steps which looked so simple but were subtly complicated. The only thing I can compare it to was to see a flower bloom, joy, tears were had by all . the workshops are selling fast ladies and now that Sara works with Eman they are working hard to make sure these are some of the most informative innovative workshops this year,

She won't be teaching in London but has agreed to visit the UK again in the summer to teach at Raqs Britannia in Blackpool 5-7th June
