Thread: Need Snappy Title/Description for Workshop

Soooo...I have this material that I cover in my Level 2 class and in some private lessons. The basic idea is how to break down an oriental piece of music and identify it's various sections, and then explore the movement vocabulary and mood to go with each part. The target audience is non-pro students who want to move beyond pop music when soloing and tackle songs with lots of tempo and musical changes like Escape from Cairo, Gala Oriental, Leila Sukara, Tales from the Sahara, Isis, Aswan Dances, etc.

It's occurred to me that this material could easily be translated into a 2 hour workshop. But I can't really come up with a catchy title (De-Mystifying Oriental Songs is the best I've come up with - too lame for words), or a succinct description. I'm usually pretty good at this sort of thing but I'm blanking. Any ideas or suggestions?

Rhythms and Musicality
Move beyond pop music and tackle songs with lots of tempo and musical changes, and better enable yourself to hear and translate the music into dance. Learn how to break down an oriental piece of music and identify its various sections, and then explore the movement vocabulary and mood to go with each part.

Add a line about what you'll actually work on - combinations, or specific classic songs, etc.
