Thread: cheap bulk zills?

where might i find 10 or so pairs of inexpensive starter zills for beginners that don't sound horrid?

Did you find anything on the swap meet?

Turquoise International sells wholesale, but I think their first price break is at a dozen sets. They're student zills are fine. If you email them, they usually response pretty quickly.

I sell the ones at MidEast, and the professional ones sound really nice (the 15 dollar ones). The ones with the flattened rim have a high ring and lots of resonance, the tapered ones are more mellow, but both actually sound pretty good. I don't feel guilty selling them or miserable hearing them...highly recommended for your adult students!

I have bought some cheapish zills from ebay roundabout $10. Perfectly fine for students/class. I think the shop name was under 'sirik', they also sold kuchi items.
