looking for teachers in the surrounding Boston area
I'm not sure if this is the place for this post(or if it should be in the student forum?), but I am looking for teachers!
A friend of mine lives in the Boston area, and is looking for classes to take. She's more into the tribal/tribal fusion style. Any suggestions would be helpful!(names of teachers and websites would be great).
Love, hugs, and bellyrolls!!

I'm not really sure what the tribal scene is like in Boston, but if she's interested in taking some Egyptian style classes, I've heard only glowing things about Najmat.
Our very own Bhuzzer Stardancer is from Bean Town, too. I'm not sure if she teaches, but hopefully she'll chime in with a tip or two!

Re: looking for teachers in the surrounding Boston area
I don't do tribal so I'm not sure who the current teachers are in Boston. I have seen some good tribal / fusion style dancers...so they may be able to clue your friend in as to who teaches tribal style classes.

Phoenix Avathar, whose site doesn't seem to be working, but I know she's teaching tribal/ITS workshops.
I second Amira Jamal and Najmat; Melina is an awesome teacher too.

Also Ombellyco for ITS.
Vadalna for tribal fusion
Najmat for Egyptian / Arabic
Amira Jamal for American Caberet
Melina for American Caberet, Greek and general awesomeness
Shadia Tohme for everything
All of the above are easily accessible via the public transportation systems- A deeply desired goal gives context to present experience... M. Stanton Jones
